Who can be referred?
Inclusion criteria
- Low level anxiety and depression.
- A degree of loneliness and social isolation
- Early stage dementia,
- Ambulatory without aid or rest for some 200 meters; disability severe enough to impair full daily activities (e.g. to work a full day without special provisions).
- Must live in the borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Exclusion criteria
- Symptomatic hypotension -significant drop in BP during exercise / dizziness / light headedness.
- Pain, dizziness or excessive breathlessness experienced during exertion.
- Any unstable or uncontrolled condition.
- Febrile illness (flu/fever).
- Individuals experiencing acute uncontrolled psychiatric conditions.
- Advanced dementia
