Are lorries allowed to park on the road before the site opens?
The landfill facility opens at 7am. The operator has advised that they have contacted the companies who deliver waste and requested that they do not park outside the site before the site is open.
Planning permission has been granted by Staffordshire County Council in January 2023 which now allows waste carrying vehicles to park on the internal haul road between 06:00 and 07:00 Monday to Friday (excluding Bank and Public Holidays).
