Pre-validation checking service
What isn't covered by the service?
The pre-validation service is purely an administrative function. The advice that it provides simply reviews what has been submitted and whether additional information is needed.
It does not:
- convey any acceptance as to the suitability of the proposed development from a planning perspective
- check the quality or detail of supporting professional reports and assessment being submitted
- remove the need for additional information which may need to be submitted subsequently as a result of the planning application process.
