Last dates for Temporary Event Notices over the Christmas period
Please take into account our current Tier 3 situation when considering any events and make sure that your safety and that of the people attending your events is paramount in your planning. These factors will be considered by the responsible bodies when considering the notice.

Anyone wishing to hold an event where any licensable activity will take place must give notice of the event (a Temporary Event Notice) to the Council at least 10 clear working days (Regular TEN) or 5 clear working days (Late TEN) before the event takes place. A copy of the notice must also be given to the Police and to the Environmental Health Department.
The 10 or 5 days does not include:

The day the application is accepted by the licensing office

The day of the event
A 'working day' is any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a Bank Holiday.

What you will need to apply:-
You will need a total of three completed application forms for each temporary event. The organiser of the event must submit the following items:

A copy of the completed application form to the licensing office

The fee, which is £21 per Temporary Event Notice (cheque or card payments only please)

One copy of the completed application form to each of the other responsible authorities
