Registering the Birth of a Child

The birth of a child is a marvellous occasion but it can also be quite stressful.  One of the things you must do by law is register the birth of your child within 42 days and if you live near Kidsgrove, you can do this at Kidsgrove Customer Services Centre on Liverpool Road, which saves you having to travel to Newcastle or Stafford.

Parents living in Kidsgrove can register their child's birth at the local Customer Service Office, thanks to a joint initiative between Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council and Staffordshire County Council.

All parents need to do is call 0300 111 8000  or e-mail Registrars Enquiries and ask to speak to someone about registering a birth and explain that they would like to do so in Kidsgrove.  They will then be offered a selection of times and dates to choose from. The Kidsgrove Customer Service Centre is located at The Town Hall, Liverpool Road, Kidsgrove ST7 4EH.

You can also book an appointment at Staffordshire County Council - Birth Registration

This service makes it easier for people living in rural areas to access this service, allowing people to register births in Kidsgrove will save them time and money, giving them more time to focus on the new arrival.
